THE acclaimed international spectacular, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, will return to Sydney at ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park in October 2019.
One of the greatest shows on earth, featuring more than 1200 performers from around the world, heads to Sydney direct from its annual season on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, Scotland, where it continues to boast sell-out performances entertaining more than 220,000 people each summer.

Wednesday, 16th October: Welcome aboard! As we depart for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. An early start this morning for our travelling companions between Hervey Bay and Caboolture. Brisbane and Toowoomba passengers join us at Roma Street Transit Centre and Gold Coast passengers join us en-route. Crossing the border into NSW we change to daylight saving time. Stop at Chinderah for lunch (own expense), enjoy the scenic beauty of the Northern Rivers District as we continue to Coffs Harbour. Stay Opal Cove Resort
DAY 2 COFFS HARBOUR – SYDNEY BLD
Thursday, 17th October: Continuing our journey south through the Manning Valley District to Bulahdelah, set on the banks of the Myall River. Here we pause for a delicious picnic lunch before making our way to Parramatta to settle in for the next two nights. Stay Rydges Parramatta
DAY 3 SYDNEY SIGHTSEEING & EDINBURGH MILITARY TATTOO BMD
Friday, 18th October: After a leisurely breakfast, board our coach for a delightful day of sightseeing. Arriving at Parramatta Park, visit the beautiful Rumsey Rose Garden which boasts one of the largest collections of heritage roses in Australia. There is always something beautiful to see and you’ll find the roses are at their peak at this time of year. The gardens are sure to delight you with a central lawn surrounded by lush garden beds with paved paths leading to arbours draped with fragrant heritage roses.
World heritage listed Parramatta Park is one of the oldest public parks in the world with more than two million people visiting every year. Free time is allowed for you to wander through the park and explore while your coach crew prepares morning tea. Next, make our way to Darling Harbour for free time to purchase your lunch and to check out the many activities. Re-boarding your coach stop at the Sydney Opera House for free time to explore before returning to our accommodation to rest up for our exciting night ahead.

Saturday, 19th October: After a night full of spectacular performances and memories to treasure, we farewell Sydney and travel north to Cessnock in the Hunter Valley where we pause for morning tea. Following the New England Highway, make our way to Scone for lunch at the RSL. After lunch, continue north to Tamworth for an afternoon break at the Big Golden Guitar Complex before arriving at our overnight accommodation. Stay All Seasons Motel Armidale
DAY 5 ARMIDALE – HOME BMLD
Sunday, 20th October: It’s our last day together on tour so we enjoy a good country breakfast before continuing north through Tenterfield and over the border back into Queensland at Wallangarra (clocks back by one hour). Enjoy an early lunch in Warwick before we reach Brisbane. Gold Coast and Brisbane passengers depart the tour. Passengers north en route to Hervey Bay stay on the coach.
