Carnarvon Gorge is one of Australia’s most remarkable natural wonders…a lush, green oasis where ancient sandstone cliffs have been carved by the waters of spring-fed streams. Carnarvon Valley nestled between towering cliffs is a geologically unique landmark, home to an incredible array of plant life…from graceful she-oaks to prehistoric macrozamia, there is also unusual ferns and mosses. The gorge is also a bird watchers paradise and kangaroos and possums are at home in the park. Aboriginal Rock Art is a gentle reminder of the countless generations of Aborigines who called this wondrous land home. Return from your holiday refreshed and reunited with nature.
